Folks, I am on vacation starting today. I will be in India. I am there to attend a few events – this along with the time difference will keep me away from the trading screen and the computer for most part. So, there will be very few to no updates here till Aug 5th. I will start posting regularly and frequently starting Aug 6th. Till then, Good luck to you all.
Folks, I apologize for very infrequent to non-existent updates. I am headed out of the country for a 2-week vacation. And the way things work at any JOB, if one is headed to a 2-week vacation, they are expected to get the work for those 2-weeks done before they leave. So, I have been dumped on with 5-week worth of work to be finished in 2.5 weeks. That has kept me away from trading and updating this blog as well.
I will try to post some updates from time to time.

I have figured out a way to make my trades available on this website in real time in a much easier manner. I figured out that I can update my status on twitter by linking a cell phone number with my account and then sending text messages from that cell phone number to 40404. There are two ways one can access these twitter updates
Folks – my hosting provider was down for extended period of time today, which prevented me from updating the website regularly with my trades during the day.

On the night of Wednesday Jun 24th, just minutes after midnight ET (or 9pm PT), ES went up 9 points in 2-3 minutes. There was no news of any sort to be found anywhere on the internet. More than 10,000 contracts were traded in matter of minutes (this is huge volume even for NYSE hours). Of course, all those who went short overnight, putting a stop loss a few points higher were got it. And to make matters worse, ES went onto revisit 892 the next morning.

Karl Denninger did some research into this (you can read more here) and found out that some news that was to be announced around noon time Thursday was leaked and whoever had access to this supposedly secret information took advantage of this.
Why should this matter to you: Even if you weren’t one of those who were short ES that night, sooner or later “they” (the goons) are going to get you and your hard earned money. It is just a matter of “when” and not “if”. They are out there and have an unfair advantage over you, and by having access to such kind of information, it just becomes to screw you over even easier.
What can you do: Tyler Durden at Zero Hedge, another blog that I have a lot of respect for has taken matters in his own hands and has lodged a complaint with SEC regarding this incident.
